6 Months Old

Our baby girl is 6 months old! Crazy crazy. It feels like last week when I was in the the hospital with her and yet it seems like Colee has been a part of our lives forever. Here is a little about Colee and what she has been up to at 6 months...

*Colee can roll and roll and roll and roll clear across the room, or all the way under my desk at school which she thinks is so funny.
*Colee has been eating baby food for a while now. Her favorites are carrots and sweet potatoes. She doesn't really like peas.
*Colee loves bath time especailly now because she sits in the tub and splashes with everything she has. Her favorite bath toys are the rubber duckies and the shampoo bottle. She has to have the rubber duckies right by her the entire time and then she throws and pushes the shampoo bottle around. If the ducks move she dives for them, which means I have to have quick reflexes.
*Colee still hates getting dressed or undressed.
*Colee has the chubbiest cheeks and they are so much fun to kiss.
*Colee hates cuddling.
*At night or during naps, Colee has to roll on her side and grab the top of the crib bumper. She will scoot and grunt until she can roll and grab the top. She is then okay and usually goes to sleep.
*Colee loves to jabber at anyone who will listen. Her newest "phrase" is bababababababa over and over.
*Colee likes to grab Sadie and pet her. She giggles whenever Sadie licks her. Colee squeals and spazzes out whenever Sadie comes close. If the dog is in the room Colee will just sit there and stare at her.
*Colee loves her walker!! She sits in it after school and pushes herself backwards all around my classroom.
*Colee favorite toys are a paper plate and a plastic cup.

hApPy hAlLoWeEn!!

Colee was a Bronco's Cheerleader for Halloween. I do have to say that she was one cute little cheerleader. Don't worry though, I did have a talk with her about how she is going to play sports and not be a cheerleader. She promised me she would do as I said. We had a blast going trick-or-treating to Gram Margie's, Aunt Jo's, and Aunt Kali's houses. Here are some pics of our night?

Grandma Marg, Daddy, and Colee

Grandma Margie totally hooked us up with candy. She had TONS of it! She is so wonderful. For school, I dressed up like a Chinese Lady. It was so much fun. Forrest went to Hong Kong on his mission and brought back the most gorgeous dresses so I put one on, sprayed my hair black, put makeup on, and headed to school. Not many students dressed up which was a bummer for them. A few of them told me they were way to old for dressing up. I just looked at them and gave them a 'helloooo?' look. I shoulda taken pictures. Hmmmm...next year I guess! How was your Halloween?

House, House, House!

Our house is coming along SO fast! I'm super excited! We have the move in date of November 25, but since the snow last week we have lost a few days. As long as we move in before Christmas I will be happy!!

These pictures were all taken the last week in October. The second one from the bottom is the view from my kitchen window! Isn't it great!?
