Volleyball & A Rodeo

Today Farley and I went to the Days of '47 Rodeo with my family! It was a lot of fun and a really good rodeo. My family usually goes to the rodeo every year. It is a fun tradition! The stock was really good at the rodeo this year. None of the bull riders rode, only a couple of the bronc riders rode, and the intermission entertainment rocked! This is Farley in his cowboy hat!

One Arm Bandit was the intermission entertainment and it was way cool. Check out their site!

Stacy and me. Our eyes look kinda crazy and a lot alike!!!!

It was crazy that none of the Bull Riders rode! A couple riders were really close but didn't quite make it.

On Wednesday night Farley, me, Jeremy, Stacy, Lisa, and Dace played in the Altamont Longhorn days volleyball tournament. They take a bunch of sand and put it in the rodeo arena. There were 20 teams that signed up and it was a reallllllly long night. We only lost one game...the championship.

Grandma Mecham and me!! She is great!!

Stan Bronson

Today Farley and I helped Stan and Maryann move. We live about two blocks from them and I'm really sad to see them go. Maryann is so much fun to have in Relief Society and it will be weird not sitting by them in Sunday School. But they are so excited to move to St. George and be close to their grandkids. And they have a nice new house to move in to!

Arizona, Arizona, Arizona

Farley and I drove Zeb and Hil's Honda to Mesa, Arizona. Zeb left in the moving van a bit earlier than us and Far, me and Hilary drove down We stopped at The Goosenecks on the way. It was so pretty! I had no idea it even existed.

I kinda got bored a few times driving down. So here are a few of my bored pictures.

We got there about 4:00 on Saturday afternoon and started moving. Zeb and Hil's place is way nice. It has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a garage!
It was sooooooooooo hot as we packed things in, but we got it done pretty quick.

We all went to the Arizona Diamondbacks game against the San Diego Padres.
This is Farley and the World Series trophy the Diamondbacks won in 2001 by coming from behind in game seven. Definitely a well deserved trophy!

The field was really nice. It is an indoor field with a retracting roof. There were birds inside and we would watch them fly over us hoping they wouldn't drop any little surprises as they went.

I got to watch Randy Johnson play! As a kid I was always in awe cause this guy was so big could throw so hard.
That was our trip to Arizona. It was hot, but so much fun!

4th of July

Blanding was so much fun for the 4th! My favorite part was the firework show on Friday night. It was definitely the best I have ever watched. It was so nice to sit with Farley's family and talk and have fun. We went to the Melodrama on Thursday. The parade, booths, quilt show, and park to watch the fireworks on Friday. On Saturday we drove to Mesa to help Zeb and Hil move. I will definitely post our pics from our Arizona trip later. But for now, I just want to say we had a blast this weekend in Blanding!!

My Hyundai Elantra

Today I filled my car up with gas and figured my milage. I got 36 miles to the gallon. I am so happy! I loved my car before, but now I'm really loving it. If any of you out there are looking for a new car, I highly suggest a Hyundai Elantra. Not only does it get great gas milage, but it is roomier than most cars it size. It is a lot roomier than my Subaru Legacy that I had before. This car rocks!
