Life in General

Uncle Jason brought Colee some stickers and, as you can see, she has been putting them everywhere including her belly. Don't you love her smile?
Colee is in love with kettlecorn. A couple days ago she was eating it with a huge spoon while watching Dora. She finished off the entire bowl using the spoon.
I'm so excited for the holiday breaks that are coming up! I know a lot of people say that teachers get too many breaks. My reply back is, if you were a teacher you would need them. Seriously. One reason I am looking forward to the time off is to have Colee with me. I miss that little girl during the day :)  Secondly, I love Blanding and Far and I haven't been able to get out and do much lately. This town is the perfect size to enjoy and there is so much to do around here that we have been talking about. We just haven't had time to do it all. Last, I am need of catching up on blogs! It has been a couple weeks since I've read any and I miss hearing or reading about everyone. So I promise I will post soon! I hope you all have a fabulous Thanksgiving!

Halloween

Colee LOVED Halloween! She was the cutest mouse in Blanding. We didn't go to that many houses because of the weather, but Colee loved the houses we did visit. We went to Shirley's, Kedric's, Grandma Great, Kali's, Ellis's, and Jens and Patricia's. By the time we left the first house, Colee totally knew what was going on and she would hold out her pumpkin for candy and then, so sweetly, ask for "more, more, more".

Halloween was way fun. Colee tried to take her candy and pumpkin to the tub with her that night and also to bed. It was so funny! I'm usually not into Halloween at all, I think it is kind of a weird holiday. This year was super fun though, because Colee made it that way. I hope you all had a blast too!

Goin' Bananas!

Colee is seriously in LOVE with bananas. She eats at least a couple a day. First thing every morning as soon as she makes it in the kitchen she asks for a "nana".

Hunting Season!!

Farley shot this deer last night and Colee wasn't too sure about it. She was super excited that grandpa and daddy were home, but wanted nothing to do with the deer. Isn't Far so cute?

Wedding

My sister Lisa was married a couple weeks ago. We went to Tabiona for the celebration, but it was a quick trip. Colee was sick and kept puking everywhere. So sad. We got there at 1:00am Saturday morning and drove back to Blanding Saturday night.

So Sad

You can't see the tears streaming down her cheeks, but they definitely make for one sad little girl. How do kids learn to cry and throw fits?

Trip To Bryce

Farley's Grandma Crofts was celebrating her 90th birthday with a reunion at Bryce Canyon. We headed out Monday afternoon and wow, what a long drive. Colee actually did amazing on the drive there and back. I was definitely the worst passenger out of the three of us :)

On our way through Capitol Reef this is what we saw walking down the road!
This lovely little beaver was marching down the middle of the road. Cars were going around the little guy and snapping pictures.

We arrived and checked in to Ruby's Inn at 8:00, ate dinner with Skyler and Ruth, and then headed up to the campground. Colee was exhausted by the time we returned. She fell asleep on the way back to the hotel and didn't move an inch until the next morning. This is her after I pulled her out of the car and before I put her in her crib.
The next day we headed back up to the campground. We sat and visited with everyone.
Colee LOVED being outside. She picked up every rock in the area and probably tasted each one too. She was filthy dirty within 10 minutes of being there. She had so much fun.

That afternoon we went back to the hotel and went swimming!!
This is Colee and Cam in their swimming diapers.
We had a blast! Cam is a regular fish and being Colee's first time swimming it took her a few minutes to warm up to the water. By that afternoon the kids (and adults) were exhausted. On our way back to camp Colee and Cam were out. They both fell asleep within seconds of each other. It was hilarious.

The next morning we had planned on going to visit with Jan and Cole in Tropic, but Farley came down with strep throat and we ended up in Panguitch at the clinic until noon. So after the clinic we just headed home.

We had a lot of fun on our trip and it is a good thing too, because when we got home there was a snake in our garage...

Good Morning!!

Colee's hair is getting so thick. It also has curl to it. So after I bathe her at night and put her to bed with slightly damp hair, she wakes up in the morning with the craziest hair! Colee also hates having her hair done. Most of the time she shakes her head as fast as she can while I'm trying to do it. I'm lucky if I get anything in her hair at all. Her hairdo usually only lasts part way through the day anyway, because if she finds her pigtails or ponytails, she will do anything she can to tear it out. Headbands and hats...yeah, let's just say not a chance.
