Independence Day!

The 4th of July was a blast this year (just like always). The little kids had so much fun, as did the "big" kids. Here are some pictures! Enjoy!

These two pics need explaining... Zeb would light the parachute fireworks and Farley, in the side x side, would try and catch them.

Living in the USA is the best! I am so thankful for the opportunity to live here and enjoy the freedom we have. I am grateful to those who fought for our freedom from England so we could be this wonderful free nation and  to those who have fought since then and continue to fight today. I pray that our nation will continue to have the motto "God Bless America", because without Him, this nation wouldn't be close to what it is today. I hope you all had a fantastic Independence day as well :)

Cousins

Cam has been here the past week and Colee has had a blast with him! They play well together and wear each other out by the time naps come around. They have the best imaginations and are constantly giggling!

Summer is THE BEST!!!!!!!

Summer is so much fun! Especially sharing it with Colee. She has the wildest imagination and keeps me constantly entertained. I LOVE SUMMER!

Colee playing in her "rock ship"

Spaghetti is fun to eat even when you are old, isn't it?

We made some delicious cinnamon-sugar pretzels!

This was Colee's bridge. She told me the "gumpy ole troll" lived underneath. Every time she would push her stroller across she would say, "oh no, gumpy troll." (Grumpy Old Troll is on Dora the Explorer and he lives under a bridge)

Seriously, summer is FUN!

2 Years Old

So Colee turned two on May 15 and here are a few things about our little munchkin...

-Weighs: 34 lbs.
-Height: 3'3"
-Eats anything she wants
-Can say anything (This morning when I was changing her diaper, she said, "Mom, you're awesome!")
-Calls herself Coco.
-Loves to sing Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, the "ABCD Song" (she sings this in a deep voice as loud as she can, so funny), Wheels on the Bus.
-Favorite story is Goldilocks and the Three Bears. She will quote different parts to me, for instance "Baby bear chair broke. Oh no, mom! It okay, I fix it." Funny little girl.
-Sleeps like a rock and will tell me to go away if I try and wake her up.
-Loves to watch Dora the Explorer.
-Will run over to grandpa and grandma's house if I'm not watching her.
-Loves nursery! She has never hated it or cried. Thank goodness.
-Loves root beer twin pops.
-Is totally a daddy's girl.
-Likes to play in the dirt outside, but she usually takes her purse with her and fills it up with rocks and dirt.

Memorial Day 2011

Forrest, Farley, Colee and I went to the cabin on Memorial Day this year. The day was perfect! We relaxed and enjoyed ourselves. The best part was that we didn't have any schedule to follow. We just loaded the wheelers and spent the day doing whatever. I love days like this!

Skyler and Ruth's Wedding

I took very few pictures of Skyler and Ruth's wedding. I feel really bad! But I do know that Hil took some and I plan on stealing some from her. We are so thankful to have Ruth in our family! She is wonderful.

And this is after eating an icecream cone. Just thought I'd throw this in here.

2 Years Old

On May 15th Colee turned two! My parents came down and celebrated and then Colee had another party when Farley and his parents came home from St. George. Colee had a blast and still asks if it is her birthday so she can have more parties!
