Walking with Dinosaurs!!

On Friday Kathy gave us tickets to the Walking with Dinosaurs show at the ESA. It was so much fun! Thank you Kathy!!!! I've been so excited to watch it ever since I first heard about it. The show was awesome and there were so many kids everywhere who were so funny to listen to. During the show a little boy behind us asked his dad if the dinosaurs were trained and his dad told him they weren't yet. The little boy just said "Oh, okay" and kept watching. Another little kid next to us asked his dad how many dollars it would cost to buy a pet dinosaur. It was so much fun!!! The dinosaurs looked real. Their eyes even blinked and moved. The pictures below are great but do not do the show justice. Enjoy them though! Thanks again Kathy!!!!!!!!!

What's Been Happening!

It has been a while since the last post. So here is what has been happening lately...

For Christmas break we went to Tabiona and to Blanding. We had a lot of fun, but it all went fast! We went sledding at both places (well, Farley did) and just sat around eating and being lazy. In Blanding we went to "Bedtime Stories" and I recommend everyone go watch it! We went to a funeral last Saturday and it was sad. Going to that funeral though, reinforced the importance of eternal families and I'm very thankful to be sealed to Farley and our baby.

We are now back into the real world and it is kind of nice to be back on a schedule. Our baby has been kicking like crazy these past few weeks and wakes me up every night! I don't think I've slept through the night since I've been pregnant. Guess that is good practice though for what is to come!

Christmas Tree and an Apple Seed

Here is our Christmas Tree this year! It is a way pretty tree and so bushy. We went to Smith's and grabbed one that wasn't the smallest or the biggest. When we got it home and into the house, the branches started to bush out and they just kept going. I had lights that covered our tree last year plus an extra box, but after using all those I still had to go get more. I love our tree though! And the smell of a real tree is the best!!!!!!
Okay, so last year a student gave me this plant and it was so pretty. But I accidently left it out on the deck this fall and it froze. I was sad. But Farley said he was going to save it. After a few weeks of trying to get it to come back to life, I walked in the kitchen to find him poking the dirt.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"Planting a seed," he told me.
"In the dead plants dirt?"
"Yep!"
"What kind of seed?"
"An apple seed."
"An apple seed?"
"Uh-huh, I already planted a popcorn seed in there."
I just said "oh" and walked away. Well a couple days ago the apple seed started to sprout!! It looks kinda cool growing next to the dead plant. But if you look real close at the dead plant, it is actually starting to have new growth towards the bottom! So now Farley has two plants growing in the same pot.
